PM Man Ki Baat

A Nasha Mukt Bharat Yuva Rally was led by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon'ble Governor of Punjab, Dr Virendra Kumar, Hon'ble Minister of SJE along with other dignitaries. 8000+ youth and students participated in the rally at PAU, Ludhiana, Punjab and pledged against drug abuse.

Under NMBA, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in the presence of Dr. Virendra Kumar (HMSJE), Shri Ramdas Athawale (MoS), and Shri B.L. Verma (MoS), in collaboration with CRPF and Brahma Kumaris to spread the message of protection, harmony, and a drug-free society.

Depending on the client's condition, psychiatrists may prescribe medications commonly used in the de-addiction process, such as:

Methadone, Buprenorphine, and Naltrexone – for managing opioid addiction.
Disulfiram, Naltrexone, and Acamprosate – for treating alcohol dependence.
Bupropion and Varenicline (Chantix) – for nicotine cessation.

Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts (IRCAs)
