About Us

The Management Information System (MIS) is a comprehensive digital platform established by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE) under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) to systematically collect and monitor data from various drug de-addiction and demand reduction schemes.

The primary rationale for implementing Management Information System (MIS) is to address the need for reliable, real-time, and centralized data on drug abuse patterns, which enables evidence-based policymaking, trend tracking over time, and effective planning of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs across India.

It integrates data from key schemes under NAPDDR, including Integrated Rehabilitation Centres for Addicts (IRCAs), Outreach and Drop-in Centres (ODICs), District De-Addiction Centres (DDACs), and related interventions, covering not only admitted patients but also day-care visitors, community-identified vulnerable individuals, and hotspot details.
