NMBA will bring together the regulatory agencies like Narcotics Bureau, State and District Government, Police, NGOs, Hospitals, etc. so that they can work together in a coordinated manner to make India drug-free.

The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan intends to reach out to the masses and spread awareness on the issue of substance abuse through active participation of the youth, women and the community. Special emphasis is laid on the institutions of Higher Education, Youth Clubs & Women Groups to reach out to those vulnerable to substance use for early age prevention.
